In honor of Cinco De Mayo here is a good Margarita recipe.
- 3 oz Patron Tequila
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 1.5 oz Lime Juice
- 1/2 oz Honey Syrup (recipe below)
- 1/8 tsp Arbol Chile Tincture (recipe below)
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake. Pour over ice in your favorite glass.
- 1 Cup Raw Honey
- 1 Cup Boiling Water
Remove water from stove and place 1 cup in a mason jar, mix in 1 cup of honey and allow to cool.
Arbol Chile Tincture
- 20 Arbol Chiles
- 1 3/4 Cups Everclear
Combine ingredients in a pint sized mason jar. Place lid on jar. Let sit two weeks, shaking vigorously for 5-10 seconds every day.
You can make this drink without the Arbol Chile Tincture, it just adds a nice kick to it.
